These Terms & Conditions apply to all gift vouchers purchased from Kate Darbishire (Kate Darbishire Writing & Coaching). By purchasing or redeeming a voucher, you agree to the following:

1. What the voucher includes

Each voucher provides:

One 60-minute one-to-one session with Kate (via Google Meet unless otherwise agreed),
and

Written feedback on up to 1,500 words of the recipient’s writing.

Both elements are included. The written feedback may be used before or after the session, or independently if the recipient prefers not to meet live.

2. How to redeem

Instructions for redeeming the voucher are provided in the downloadable redemption pack.
Sessions must be booked using the provided calendar link or by emailing [email protected].

3. Expiry date

Vouchers must be redeemed within 6 months of the date of purchase, or by the expiry date on the voucher, whichever is later. Please try to book within this window so we can make the most of your session.

4. Transferability

Vouchers are fully transferable. The original purchaser may give the voucher to another person to redeem.
However, once redeemed, the booking and feedback belong to the named recipient and cannot be further transferred.

5. Refunds

Gift vouchers are non-refundable once purchased.
If the recipient chooses not to redeem the voucher, the value cannot be refunded or exchanged for other services.

6. Rescheduling and cancellations

If the recipient needs to reschedule their booked session:

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited at Kate’s discretion.

If Kate needs to reschedule, another suitable time will always be offered.

7. Written feedback

Written feedback will be provided on up to 1,500 words per voucher.
Longer submissions may be accepted at Kate’s discretion and may incur additional fees, agreed in advance.

Feedback is provided for creative and educational purposes. It does not guarantee publication or specific outcomes.

8. Copyright and confidentiality

All submitted work remains the property of the writer.
Feedback and session material must not be reproduced or shared publicly without permission.
All writing shared with Kate is treated as confidential.

9. Suitability

These sessions are designed for writers seeking creative support and developmental guidance.
They are not a substitute for therapy or legal/financial advice.
