Writing a book can be a lonely business. Motivation wobbles, confidence dips, and before you know it, you've lost your way.
I’m in the early stages of creating Chapel House Story Nook – a membership space for writers who want steady support, thoughtful guidance, and a place to return to their work again and again.

The Story Nook is being shaped around a few simple principles:
• writing thrives with rhythm, not rush
• clarity matters more than constant output
• progress happens when you feel supported, not judged
• community should feel small enough to be real
The exact format is still evolving, but the intention is clear: to create a place where writers can find friendship and community. To find others on the same journey.

While the details are still taking shape, the membership is likely to offer:
• regular live calls focused on writing craft and progress
• space to ask questions and talk through sticking points
• gentle accountability to help you stay connected to your work
• guidance grounded in real editorial and coaching experience
• a small, thoughtful group rather than a large, anonymous crowd
As the space grows, so will the possibilities — but it will always stay rooted in care and clarity.

Chapel House Story Nook is for writers who:
• are working on a book or long-form project
• want support without overwhelm
• value reflection as much as momentum
• prefer depth to noise
You don’t need to be at a particular stage. You just need to want to keep showing up.

This won't be a content library you'll feel guilty for not using.
It will be a place to get guidance, accountability and a caring community around your writing.
This is very much a work in progress and I would love to hear your thoughts.
I'm imagining fortnighly get togethers on zoom. Once a month talking about craft and once as a Q&A.
Because this membership is still in formation, I’m inviting early interest.
Joining the interest list means:
• you’ll be the first to hear when the membership opens
• you’ll have the chance to help shape how it works
• you’ll be invited in early, at a founding-member rate
There’s no obligation – just a conversation.
